Social Networking and Parents Behaving Badly

Social Networking and Parents Behaving Badly

on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012

We’ve been talking with our teens about the recent incident that happened when a 15-year-old girl posted a complaint about her parent’s on Facebook and her dad’s reaction.  Her complaints were standard teen angst – since time immemorial teens have rebelled and complained about chores and how awful life is with their parents.  That’s what {Social Networking and Parents Behaving Badly}

Do It Yourself Project: Framing Artwork

on Friday, April 29th, 2011

Weekly Meal Plan

Weekly Meal Plan

on Saturday, September 1st, 2012

Do you ever plant a vegetable in your garden and then wonder if it will grow or not? For me, planting artichokes in the garden felt like a real gamble. Really? Artichokes? Actually, we didn’t even plant them in our garden. They are very nice looking plants and we put them in our front yard {Weekly Meal Plan}

My Daily Indulgence: Perfume

My Daily Indulgence: Perfume

on Friday, May 27th, 2011

Every day, I indulge.  I give myself a squirt of perfume.  Every single day.  Even if I’ve run around in my work-out clothes all day (ick!), showered in the evening, and put on my pajamas, I always use perfume.  Why?  When you’re careful with money, time, and resources, you need a little daily indulgence. I {My Daily Indulgence: Perfume}
