I was going to go on a rant, but changed my mind. They’re very pretty, but Whole Foods is one of the stores that I no longer patronize. Their stand on the Affordable Care Act, and their stance in the elections last November sealed the deal for me. They also don’t usually bring in local flowers – from what I understand from a friend in the flower and plant world, they almost always import their flowers from other countries.

I love tulips. Love them! I’m trying to force some bulbs that I left in the garage over the winter. Otherwise I’d be all over this sale.

I don’t have a Whole Foods near me but your tulip-ey picture is so cheery! It’s sunny with blue skies in my neck of the woods but LOTS of snow on the ground so spring seems like a far-away dream …
