Anniversary Celebration Giveaway

Anniversary Celebration Giveaway To celebrate the one year anniversary of Go Gingham, I’m giving away this sweet, adorable wallet.  This wallet is made by the very talented Meg, of Meg Expressions.

MegExpressionsMeg sews her one-of-a-kind designs out of recycled fabrics from one of my favorite haunts, The Goodwill Clearance Center otherwise known as “the bins.”  All of her designs are unique, sweet, and ruffle-y.  Meg Expression’s tagline is “Sweet is always in style” and she is so right about that!

I recently gave Meg a large bag of my fabric scraps.  I can’t wait to see what new designs she’ll come up with.  She has such great attention to detail.  Just look at the back of this wallet.

  1. Oh, I love that wallet! The coin purse on mine just gave out today, and I was pondering the dilemma of buying a new one that might just wear out anyway. This would be great. 🙂

You did mean four questions, right? Hee.

Let’s see…my favorite day of the week would probably be Saturday or Sunday, since my husband is home those days. But I also like Thursday and Friday because I have nothing regularly scheduled on those days and I love the freedom.

  2. My favorite fabric would have to be flannel. I know, how boring! But, there’s nothing like putting on a nice set of cozy flannel pajamas and sitting down in front of the fireplace with hot cocoa and a good book.

  3. I can’t decide which question to answer!

My favorite fabric is cotton – you can do so much with it – from jeans to evening gowns. It won’t hold a stain, it drapes really well, and it’s a delight to make quilts with. It can keep you warm and cool, depending on what the weather is.

My favorite time of the year is the fall and early winter. Even though it gets dark so much earlier, watching the leaves change color and fall from the trees is wonderful.

My favorite meal to cook would have to be a holiday meal. It involves friends and family, and lots of love.

Favorite day of the week ————– I don’t really have a favorite.

  4. My favorite meal to prepare is dinner for date night…I’m cheesy, but it’s true. We have date night on Fridays and I make something delicious. It’s the perfect way to end the week.

  6. While I enjoy summer for the slow pace and possibilities of what might be, I have to say that fall is my absolute favorite time of the year ~ I just love the fall colors. The fact that my husband and I were married on a glorious fall day probably has a little to do with my love of the season as well! So let’s all enjoy the beautiful fall colors that were are lucky enough to be surrounded by this week :).

  13. Now gingham is a pretty fabric indeed, and i like the historical value of tartan, and I’ve appreciated the durability of denim, but lyra mix is my favorite to wear, and flannel is my favorite to sew, and I’m fascinated with Tulle… but frankly, I’m not sure if any of these are really fabrics or if they are patterns. So I’ll say crinoline, because it isn’t a fabric but sounds like one. And my favorite meal to prepare is stew. On a Saturday. In the Fall. I think that covers it. But what I really love is that wallet! Go Gingham and Go Meg!

  14. My favorite season is summer. I love the sunshine and layed back feeling that goes with it. Everything is more casual and relaxed during the summer months. I have to say fall is right behind summer though. There’s nothing better than spending the morning at a local farmer’s market and the afternoon in the kitchen creating new dishes with fall’s freshest ingredients!

  16. Every New Year’s Day we host a dinner for two families we are very close to, but don’t see very often. One of the only times I channel my favorite southern Great-aunt Evelyn. We have collard greens, cheese grits, hoppin’ john, cornbread, and Nilla Wafer Banana Pudding. And, of course, Sweet Tea. Good food, better friends, and a great way to start the year!
