Whole Foods Market Tulip Sale

Whole Foods Tulip Sale

I don’t usually buy fresh flowers but these are too hard to resist. Tulips are such pretty flowers and to me, they say, “Spring is coming!” And, along with it, warmer and drier weather. Raise your hand if you’re ready for warmer and drier weather?

Whole Foods Market is having a “One-day Tulip Sale” on Friday, March 8, 2013. It takes place in all of the Whole Foods Market stores and will feature three 10-stem bunches of tulips for $10.

That’s 30 stems for $10! Color availability may vary by store, but most tulips range from bright reds to soft pastels.

Whole Foods Market did not compensate me for posting this. I’m sharing this because it’s a an excellent value and sounds lovely.

  1. I was going to go on a rant, but changed my mind. They’re very pretty, but Whole Foods is one of the stores that I no longer patronize. Their stand on the Affordable Care Act, and their stance in the elections last November sealed the deal for me. They also don’t usually bring in local flowers – from what I understand from a friend in the flower and plant world, they almost always import their flowers from other countries.

  2. I don’t have a Whole Foods near me but your tulip-ey picture is so cheery! It’s sunny with blue skies in my neck of the woods but LOTS of snow on the ground so spring seems like a far-away dream …
