I try to buy used clothing as often as possible. You have to be patient when buying used clothing, especially if you’re trying to find particular items.
We were scrambling to get to a party when I realized the kids and I, dressed in all of our gay apparel, were wearing all used clothing. (To clarify, the undergarments were purchased new.)
Getting teens to wear used clothing isn’t always easy but when they pay for their own clothing, it’s a bit more agreeable.
The clothes were in pretty good shape. Cleaning is a must before wearing. After a couple of minor sewing adjustments, we were off to make merry!
